The week end shipping returns show ed an improvement in the entries of cargo. yesterday's reports showing an on the total increase of 8,697 tons freight entered for the preceding twenty- four hours; while the returns for the twenty-four hours' ended at 9 am on Saturday recorded an increase of 5,889 tons on the previous period. Cargo en- tered for Hongkong on Saturday showed City of Glasgow, British str.. 3.405 tons, an increase of just over one thousand Capt. W. J.
