"There never was a cast to marked by the absence of the scorching fires of youthful passion. -Mr. Justice MeCardie (the bachelor judge). Kissing. a Jewish wedding feast which Was to cost £115, and diamond en gagement-rjeg were subjects discussed during a breach of promise suit in the King's Bench on March 15th.

After a conference between the parties as to a settlement, Mr. O'Malley an nounced that Miss Cohen would not mary Me. Simmons though he was willing to marry her.
On going into the witness box again Miss Cohen said the still had affection for the defendant, but she was doubtful if his affection was sincere. When the engage ment was broken off she tried to persuade him to change his mind, and he would not. "Now he has changed his mind again."
