Yesterday's shipping statement show- ed that the number of vessels in harbour at Da.m. was 69, of which 32 were British.
During the twenty-four hours ended Ab D. 3.1. yesterday thirteen vessels arrived, rit.-three British, one German, one Dutch, one American, one French, Eve Japanese and one Chinese. The de partures over the same period came to Ave, these being for the following ports.-For Swatow, one Japanese; for Shanghai, one Japanese; for Saigon. one British; for Singapore, one British; for Kwong Chow Wan. one British. There were only two clearances during this period. one for Shanghai and one for Tientsin.
