For the year-1993 there were on the books of the local branch the names of 40 members. The fact that our local branch bas lost the services of those who have removed from the district is the less to be regretted when we consider that our loss is the gain of another local branch. It is to be hoped that members removing from our district to places where there is as yet no Local Secretary will seriously consider the opportunity thereby presented to them of further strengthening the Rationalist movement by themselves undertaking the duties of Secretary wherever the circum- stances permit
