Although the Institute has been in existence for six years, this is the frst public report made by this institution. Until September, 1994, the school was confined to two fints in Chine Road with only two classes, one preparing for the Matriculation and Senior Local Exami nations and the other for the Junior Local Examination of the University of Hongkong. The number of students then, was up to the limit, namely 68. Upon re- peated requests a Junior School was started in September. 1924. with four floors in Nos. 9 and 10, Wing Wa Terrace, Hospital Road. Within a week. 96 boys were camilled in the various classes from 3 to 7. Altogether, the Institute had then 15 students. At the beginning of the school year, 1923, the Junior School was removed to Nos. Hic and 440, now 74 and 76. Caine Road.
