your next issue.

When two players both receiving points meet, the one with the lowest handicap starts from scratch. the other's handicap being correspondingly reduced (A +9/8, B+13. The match is played with

scratch, B+4/6).

When both players owe points the front-marker starts at scratch, the back marker's handicap being correspondingly reduced (.g. A-15.3, A-1/6 is played at A-3/6, 8 scratch).

When one player is behind scratch, and the ather in front, they play at their handicap points (eg, A-1/8 and B+3/5 play their match at those points).

Differential odds qaly occur when

a player either owes or gives 13.4 or more to his opponent. Tables of these odds are given in the Lawn Tennis Associa tion's Annual-Yours faithfully,

A WELCOME' VISITOR. »

AN OLD FRIEND RETURNS.

The advance booking of "No, No, Nanette" shows that Hongkong has taken this charming Flapper to its heart. oo" the mere announcement, that she is coming to pay a visit here.

Lest, however, anyone should imagine that R. B. Salisbury has nothing else to offer, it is as well to bring out the fact that he has a repertoire of two dozen pieces with him, and a company, the like of which has not been seen in the East, even in the boy day of the Bandman reign. The only trouble about this repertoire is that the Company is simply not allowed to show what a thoroughly finished per- formance they can put up in their delight. ful selection of plays. No. No. Nanette holds the stage and refuses to be dislodged, However on Thursday next after three nights of No, No. Nanette the Company is giving that wonderful comedy of Ian Hay's, The Sport of Kinga, which proved such a success at the Savoy in London. Then on Friday night is being acted "The Ghost Train which is real thriller, something to make creepy things appear to run up and down one's spine! This is followed on Saturday night by "The Unfair Sex. a delightfu! comedy which is a veritable feast of laughter and which is at present filing the Savoy night after night.

On Saturday, March 27th, No. No. Nanetto" is being played at a special matinee at 4.15 p.m.
