Yesterday's abipping statement showed. that the total number of vessels in tho harbour at 9 a.m. was 63, of which 30 were British.

For the twenty fear hours ended at

.. yesterday there were twelve ar rivals, viz, six Britici, one German, one Dutch one French and three 'Japanese. Dakar Maru, Japanese str. 1,384 to Over the same period there were ton de Capt. T. Takase, from Hamburg and partures, these being six for Shanghai, a general cargo two for Singapore, one for Moji and Singapore, with lying at buoy No. 424.-N.Y.K Tonkin, French str., 848 jons, Capt. of the Serchuen (British) from Shanghai reported to the Harbour Office yesterday that a small derelict junk was passed in La 26° 25' N., Long, 120 43" E., just awash.

The master of the .. Yuen Sang (British) from Osaka and Kobe report ed that an overturned junk was sighted en route, but position and time of pase ing, was not stated in the report.
