The shipping statement for yester day showed that the number of vessels in the harbour at 9 a.m. was 75, of which 41 were British.
The arrivals for the twenty-four hours ended at s a. yesterday numbered twelve, is-aix British, three Japanese Four vessels were and three Chinese. from coast ports, three from Kwang Chow Wan and one from Swatow. The departures over the same period came to eight; while there were three clearances.
