A recent issue of The Times contains the following:

The Razmak then arranged a rendez
A number of wireless messages passed between the P. and O. Company's mail steamer: Razmak, and the French gun- boat Alerte in the Indian Ocean on Novos at.1 a.m. in lat. 17.18 N., Jon. 65.0 ember 28th which illustrated the cour tesy of sailors.
E, and promised to supply the Alerte, with the much-needed fluid. The Alerte per arrived alongside the Razmak andas
The Alerte sat out a message that she' was in urgent need of water, requesting any ship which could to stop and sup ply her. This was picked up by the commander of the P. and O.mail. steamer Bazmak, who communicated with the Alerts and elicited the fact that
made fast at 451 am on November 28th,
a hose was put on board, and she was supplied with 20 tons of fresh water, the. operation being concluded by 5.35 1.1., when the Alerte was cast off and the Razmak proceeded at full speed for Bombay
