The shipping statement for yesterday showed the total number of vessels in harbour at 9 am to be 73, of which 39 were British

Alps Maru. Japanese str., 4.881 tons;

Capt Accusawa, from Singapore. The arrivals for the twenty-four hours with a general cargo. lying at Kow-ended at 9 am yesterday aumbered loon Wharf.-U.S.K.

Of the cargo entered for Hongkong, 1,120 tons were carried by the two British vessels, one entering 700 tons from San- dakan and the other, 420 tons from Tsingtao and Shanghai. The largest, et try, was by one of the Dutch steamers from Batavia and Balikpapan, amely 4,757 tons.
