The week-end shipping returns showed that the total number of vessels in the harbour at 9 a.m. on Saturday was 76 of which 40 were British; while at the Aam hour yesterday there was a total
73, of which 38 were British.
"The arrivals for the twenty-four hours end at 9 a.m. or. Saturday numbered 19, viz-nine British, twe Japanese and one Norwegian. The departures for the sume period were 12. The arrivals for the twenty-four hours. ended a. yesterday numbered mine, viz-five British, three Japanes and one German. The departures over the same period numbered eleven.

SHIPPING MOVEMENTS.
The P. & O. *.s. Jorra, from Hong- kong, arrived at Marseilles on January Ath at 7 a.m.
The Master of the 9.5. Serghuen (British) from Shanghai reported to the Harbour Office on Saturday that ho recrived a message from the 8.3. Tung Shing so the effect that an upturned junk had been passed five miles North from Pedro Blanco.
The Harbour Master notifies that information has been received from the Military Authorities that Artillery Practice will take place from Stanley Peninsula in a South Easterly direction cn the 19th, 13tband. 14th January. All junks, ships and other vessels are to keep clear of the range.
