PLEASANT DAY AT SOOKUNPOO,

The annual athletic sports of the Ellis Kadoorie School for Indians took place yesterday afternoon, and proved a very successful function.

The programme comprised 20 events, vents, for which the judges were Messre. J. Ralston, M. A. Khan and Fung Pak. Mr. J. C. Fletcher was starter and handi- capper, and the Senior Prefect was Clerk of the Course..

Mr. J. Halston, Headmaster, spoke of the. At the conclusion, of the programme, pleasant day's sports, and introduced Mr. A. E. Wood, the acting Director of Edu cation.
