In the friendly matches the Police and the H.K.C.C. I tied; the Chib "Out- casts" defeated a combined Army" team : and the Indians beat Craigengower.

LEAGUE-DIVISION 1.

C.S.C.C.. Navy.

The Civil Service 1st team and the Royal Navy first eleven played a drawn match on the former's ground. The Navy had made 112 ruus för oven wickets at the call of time against their opponcats' 130. Fincher batted well for the home side, and carried out his bat for 67. Ling cap- tured all seven Navy wickets for 36 runs. For the visitors Armitage and Halsey, 16 and 47 respectively, were prominent.

Craigengower at home lost to the Indian R.C. by 33 runs, The Indians batted first, and scored 144, which includ ed a fine 63 by Kitchell. The C.C.C were all out for 111, the best bowling average was that of Omar, who took 4 wickets for g runs.

P.R.CH.K.C.C. II.

A singular feature of the match between

the Police" and the H.K.C.C. II. was that] both sides were out with their score at 135, and the match was a tie. Alexander was the highest scorer for the Police with 43, while for the other side. Stevenson got a fine 05. As regards bowling Lammert took five Police wickets for 48. For the Police Alexander was also useful as a bowler. He took five wickets for 33 runs.
