Wang'e hint, in an interview with a local news agency, that China might be compelled to follow the Turkish a declaration example by making. abregating all customs treaties, Dr. Wang Chung Hai was asked for his opinion as to whether Turkey was satis fied with her nation in this.respect. Re replied that he thought Turkey was antisfied and called attention to the fact that Turkey was formerly an enemy" country. Asked what he considered would be likely to be the consequences of a similar step by China at the present time, Dr. Wang, answered that that would be difficult to predict." How. ever, he added. smilingly, I am not proposing it, you know."
