The shipping statement for yesterday showed that the total number of Tesels in the harbour at 9 am was 08, of which 38 were British.

For the 4 hours ended at 9am. yesterday here, were only five ar rivals, of which one was British, one French, one American and two" Japanese. The departures for the same period numbered fifteen, a number that has not been reached for some time pist. Of the departures, two vessels left fur Swatow. Eight vessels entered clearance papers yesterday.
