MARINERS..

The following notices to mariners have heen placed in the Harbour Office:

One issued by the Customs House, Lappa, states that with reference to Lappa inen! nolieg September 18th. notice is given that the mariners of Bunken junk mentioned there has been raised and removed. No distruction of any kial has been observed on the sea bottom where this junk sank,”

Another notice from the Kongaoon dis trict states that a junk loaded with bricks was suck by pirates in October 2nd about three miles above Wagnon Customs Station. The bull is submerged at high water with about 30 feet of the mast showing. Owing to local difficulties wrecking, marks cant be maintained and masters of vessels are warned to navigate the vicinity with caution."
