SHIPPING NOTES.

Yesterday's shipping statement showed the total huber of vessels in the har- boar at 9 am to be an, of which 20 were Eritish.

For the 24 hours ended at 5 am. yes- torday, there were 12 arrivits, of which three were British, two French. ca "Nor wegian, ons Dutch, one Danish, two Americnu, on Japanese and one Chinese. The departures totalled 12.

The sailings of coastal vessels during the week-end and next werk will be as under-China Navigation Co.: the Kingyang" For Hoihow and Singapore th morrow at 10 am. the ss. Fingehuar for Amny and Shanghai on Tuesday at 4 p.m.; the sis. Kajsa for Newchwang on Tursday at 4 pat and the .s. Huichow on Saturday next for Weihaiwei, Chefoo and Tientsin. Indo-China Steam Navi- gation Co. the s.s. Shipking for Tien- tain on Tuesday (at noon; the ss. CHINA COAST CHANGES.

The latest changes on the China Coast are as under:--

Mr. P. C. Hutchence, has signed off the San Ning as first mate.

Mr. J. Cobban, has signed off the Galenus as supernauitrary soond engine er and has signed on the Achilles as third engineer.

Mr. G. Crawford, has signed off the Calchas as supernumerary third engineer and has signed on the Achilles na third engineor.
