The Vice-President, Mr. E. Abraham said that their tennis season proper, might be said, had been brought to a close by the advent of the cricket sea- son. At the same time tennis players could always keep up their practice on the cricket off days-when there was no match on that ground and he trusted that many of them would do so. Their cricketers would undoubtedly welcome the commencement of the cricket season in a fortnight's time. He was sure that with the material they had-both old and new play re-they should make a good showing this year. He would like to see
