DECREE FOR N.O.'S WIFE
A CHINA STATION ATTACHMENT.
Before Mr. Justice Hill in the Divorce Division recently Mrs. Zela Margaret Bowlby, of Oulton, Coatham, Redenr. petitioned for a dissolution of her mar riage with her husband, Lieut. Com mander Bowlby, on the grounds of his misconduct. The suit was undefended.
Petitioner stated that she was mari ed at Farnham in 1915, and there was one child of the marriage.
In 19 her husband went with his ship to the China Station, and she lived meanwhile with her people. Her his band made no provision for her support, except sending her threq sums of 25 each. He letters got less and less, until in December, 1923, she received a letter from Hongkong from him in which he wrote saying he was unable to keep her." He described the China Station as most expensive one, and referred to losses during the previous year.
