Silk forwarded from here by the KM.S. Empress of Cnunda on July 10th - arrived in New York (St. John's Park on July 31st, having lown 91 days in transit.
The silk shipped pars. President Jeferson, which sailed from this port at midnight on July 6th, arrived in New York at 8 pm on July 1st, having been; 94 days in transit.
The shining position shows little change. One or two, vessels belonging to Mexes. Jardine, Matheson and Messrs. Butterfield Swire have sailed for the North.
