EXODUS TO CANTON CONTINUES.
There has been little material change in the strike position during the week end More men in variona branches of industry have left their 'work, but, under present conditions, a few more or less do not appreciably affect the general situation Yesterday between three and four thousand · Chinese left Hongkong for Canton by boat and rail, and it is estimated that 150,000 have gone since the commencement of the strike. It must be remembered that these people have no money and no work and it is interesting to speculate apon the length of time.they can be maintained by the Canton Government. There are plentiful supplies of food in Hong- Rong änd essential serviceg, are being kept going.
