A lawsuit arising out of a collision Fri between the Kowk-ar (3,202. tons) Satur. and the Hermion, a Norwegian steamer is set down for hearing at the Kohe District Court on June 6th, the plain- tifs being the Osaka Hiroumi Shoji Mon. Mr. B.. O. Andresen, Norwegian Consul Kaisha, owners of the former vessel, and Tues. Mr. B. O." Andresen, Norwegian Consul for Kobe, being named as defendants..

Plaintiffs claim that the accident conld! have been avoided if the crew of the Hermion had taken due care. They ask for yen 16,179,50 damages.

The defendant denies that the collision was caused by the varelessness of the Brimma's Crew. He also disputes the extent of the damage,
