The last cabled quotation from London for rubber is 1/9, but there is nothing doing in rubber shares locally...

Banks-Hongkong & Shanghai Banks show no change either here or at home, and are steady locally at $1,200 which price a few shares have changed hands.

Marine and Fire Insurances-Cantons continue in demand at $7371 without attracting sell. Unions have been dealt in to a small extent at $279.
