Dividend.-The General Managers and Consulting Committee have pleasure in recommending a dividend of 33 per share absorbing 230,000.00.

In accordance with Article No. 90 of the Company's Articles of Association, Sir Robert Ho Tung and Mr." Allan Cameron rétire by rotation, and ofer themselves for re-election, Mr. D. G. M. Bernard retired from the Board on leav - fing the Colony, and Mr. B. D. F. Beith was invited to join the Board, which ap pointment requires confirmation at this, meeting.

Mr. H. F. White and Mr. J. P. Warren also retired on leaving the Colony and Mr. A. H. White and Mr. T. G. Weall joined the Board in their places. Subsequently Mr. A. H. White retired and Mr. H. P. Whitt re-joined the Baird. These appointments also r quire confirmation at this meeting.
