CASKET SIMILAR TO HIS FRIEND LENIN."
A POLITICAL WILL:
NO PROPERTY TO BEQUEATH BUT BOOKS, CLOTHES AND A HOUSE.
Dr. Sim, Yat Sen, died in Peking at 8,30 yesterday morning. He left Canton in November last at the invitation of Marshal Tuan Chi Jui to participate in the Conference then being convened to consider methods of reorganising the administration of the country: Dr. Sup. Yat Sen did not, reneb the Capital until December aist, and then he went there on the advice of his medical attendant at Tientsin, for a thorough medical examination, for which seven doctors were called in.' Dr. Sot had been suffering in Tientsin from inflammation of the liver, and the doctors at Peking found that the malady was of a malignant character. They held onth hope, however, that it wödd yield to treatment, and the possibility of a surgical operation was indicated. Dr. Sun Yat Sen ratered the hospital of the Peking Union Medical College. No operatim was per- formed, we believe. His condition grew worse, and then for a time a slight improvement was observed, but it did not last long, and the daily o telegram from Peking has made the public acquainted with the anxiety which his condition had constantly caused. On tĺpy 18th February he was removed by his family at his request from the hospital, to a private residence in Peking. From this it was assumed that the end was near,, but he lingered another three weeks before the end actually came. The telegrams below give, the details concerning his passing and the willa

For the past forty years have engaged myerit in national revolution, the aim of which has been to secu freedom and equality for China.
From my experience I know well that to gain such ends we must urge the tasses to so-operate with those races of the world that treated us
