In passing sentence, Str. Lawrie said the men were members of a dangerous) gang who had been robbing the public. for some time.

Davis, who had committed a

breach of the Probation Act, was sentenced to fifteen months hard labour for the pre seat offence and six months' hard labour for the previous offences, both sentrices to run consecutively; Price was sentenc ed to eighteen months hard labour; Licbert was went to prison for twelve months with hard labour and Berman to nine months' hard labour.
