THE HONGKONG. & KOWLOON WHARF & GODOWN CO., LTD.
It is notorious that in many cases im portant companies issuing new shares do not offer them to the public directly, but Bell them in a block to brokers or others, who afterwards offer them to the public at special terms, or with special induce-THE ments which they are not answerable
for to the law at present.
Such support is forthcoming for the Bill from all sides that the Government may treat it as an agreed measure, and refer it to committee.
