The report and statement of accounts having been in your hands for some days I will, with your permission. adopt the usual course and take them as read. I would mention, however, that there is a sum of 8400 for auditors fees which must be deducted from the balance shown, leaving an amount of $14,393.04 to be carried forward.
I would like to emphasize that the proit shown has been derived solely from the finance department of the Society and that when the work of pro- perty development and building (which is our main object) is properly in swing. we can of course look for far, higher re turns. I would also remind you that wo

I have pleasure in LaBouncing that your Directors, ot desiring to unduly burden the Society in the first year of its work: ing and appreciating the difficulties en- countered, have decided to waive their fees for the period under review, and the thanks of shareholders are due to them for this act of generosity.
