AUTOMATICS AND CARTRIDGES IN CLIPS.

When Revenue Officers were walking the Steamboat along the Praya,, near Co.'s Macao Whari yesterday morning, they observed someone throw a bag inte the Harbour from a sampan.

The three persons on the sampan were arrested, and when the bag was recovered it was found that it contained eight Mauser pistols, and 500 rounds of a munition, in clips..

By this it was suspected that the rounds were for immediate use, and that a coup was planned.
