A serious accident which involved four men, three of whom were killed, occurred at the Taikoo Bugar Refinery on Batur- day.

Four fitters were hoisting iron bore, weighing 400 lbs,, for the hot water system of the new building, which had just been completed, when the beam on which they stood, stretching from one side of the premises to the other, col- lapsed, and the men were thrown to the ground.

They fell about 75 feet. One was killed instantaneously, two others succumbed in Hospital, and the fourth is in a very serious condition.
