THE CORONET, ·
There is a soothing alliterativeness about Coogan "The Kid" and the Coronet, which, like the picture itself, should have an instant appeal. Charlio Chaplin's name is now sufficient to ensure success to any Picture House showing a film in which he is the, dominant figure. In "The Kid," there is an almost equal sharing of the honours, and Coogan lives up to youthful sounding of Jackie, which is his other name. It is impossible to describe the story if such there be. It is Chaplin in his most inimitable vein, with Codgan as an imp with a "butter won't melt in my mouth" expression. The picture is to be screened to-night and its success goes without saying,
An illustration appears in the October issue of The Blue Peter of the S.Y. Cutty Sark, Royal Clyde Yacht Squad- ron owned by Major Henry Keswick, of Jardine, Matheson & Co. She was com pleted in 1990 by. Yarrow & Co. from material intended for a British destroyer, whose building was cancelled at the Armistice. In 1922 she made a voyage round the world from Stranraer to

Of course, sir, tastes differ. Some people have judgment and others have none. But I've more respect, sir, for the man who smokes always an inferior cigarette than the man who smokes good ones one day and just anything the next. Yes, sir, I can say it posi- tively hurts to hand Kensitas to such smokers. Kensitas were not intended for such poor judges because Kensitas are too good to waste, No, sir, they were made for you and all good judges of good cigar-
ettes.

The Day of the Knight is Here !
IT IS THE
WILLYS KNIGHT
Simplest and most trouble-free type of motor ever invented.
It has the most distactive and gracefully balanced body of any car
in the market.
1-The Willys-Knight car is the four cylinder motored car that makes the siz
annecessary.
The Knight motor is steam principis. The valve me two cylindrical aleoven with rectangular slots or ports which when they register with each other and the ports in the block allow the ingress and egress of tas gases without obstruction. These wide open passages, particularly on the exhaust side, permit a more thorough cleaning of the barat gases from the combustion chamber than any other type of mator, so that every ounce of energy available in utilized from the explosive mixture, which gives us such tremendous power
1
-It has no valve to grind and no carbon to clean,
The combustion chamber is completely surrounded by, water and an allay piston noted for its great hea radiating qualities is need so neither the combustion chamber nor the head of the piston geta hot enough to bake the residue from the exposed gases to form carbon while there is still enough heat maintained to handle the explosive mixture effectively.
-It is the only type of motor that improves with use.
While carbon can not form in the combustion chamber, still a certain amount of the residue from the barst gases works up behind the wide sealing ring in the cylinder head and so this building in process obtains, it keera pushing this sealing ring more fightly against the inner sleeve until it completely seals the compression chamber developing more power with every mild the motor is drawn
C
4-It is the only type of motor that wears in while other wears out,
All parts in the Willys-Knight car are assembled with wide clearance between each other and ell is forced Into these clearances under heavy praznore so that the entire assembly is lapping or wearing in on these heavy films of oil instead of wearing out. In other words, every baaring in this motor is an oil bearing matead of a metal to metal bearing which is necessary in the construction of a poppet valve motor in order to keep it quiet with subsequent quick
wear and noise.
It has eliminated one hundred and sixty two quick wearing parts necessary in the operation of a cylindernd poppet valve motor. There are no hammering parts such as came striking against push rods, push rods against Falte roma, or valve hands capping back into their seats through the medium of heavy springs, sto,
