THE ROWING SEASON.
RESULTS OF 1924 REVIEWED.
PROGRESS OF THE SMALLER CLUBS..
[BY THE ROWING CORRESPONDENT OF
**THE OBSERVER."]
The best-boat regatta season just closed with be remembered as one of the most successful in the history of rowing. The sport increases in popularity year by year; and in spite of the strenuous nature of training for rowing and seulling the aumber of men taking part in 1994 was greater than ever before. There may not have been many really drst-class crews, but the all-round, average showed dia
better coaching.
