Bequests of 25 a year to couples thick.hr. & Mrs ing of being married, and whose cum bined hankbooks show the largest amount saved, are made in the will-of Mr. G. L. Norris, an eccentric member of the Penirth District Council, who died last December, leaving £14,280.

He also directed that a copy of the will be framed, with an enlarged photo- graph of himself, and hung in every that the schoolroom in Peanrth, so boys and girls might know what thes were entitled to.

Other bequests, include a t of coal and pound of ten each to twenty widows on his birthday every year: £10 a year in prizes for swimming, to boys acd girls, in savings bank-notes.
