The audience began to show signs of great uneasiness at the personalities used, and Sir James was induced to stop abruptly

CINEMA" NOTES. - -
THE CORONET.
In Canton the movement is heing launched by some dissatisfied students who were once members of missionary schools but later dismissed for violation of regulations. During the last two months the Holy Trinity College of the Church Missionary. Society in Caston, and the Sacred Heart College of the Catholic Mission, in the same city, "dis missed about 80 and 700 students respec- tively account of the, failure of the students to comply with regulations re- lative to holding political meetings within | school premises. Before they were dis- missed the students themselves first, went on strike and thus interfered with the smooth running of the classes, some mem- bers of which had been opposed to the action of the protesting few. Notwith- standing the walk-out of a number of students, these two institutions, have hewn and are still holding sessions aud examinations for those willing to con time their students.
