A notice has been peisted at the Har bour Office to the effect that the steam launch i 7ang les a sunken wreck on right bank of the West River, opposite the village of Sanlui, and about a quar ter of mile south of Plover Island. She lies on her starboard side in twelve feet of water, about £fty feet from the river bank. The portside awnings and the Eunur! are visible above water.

At the present time the wreck is well nut of the track of river steamers and on arroun of the diealty in maintaining wrecking marks, bore have ween erected. Owing to the steep nature of the river bank at this spot, and the possibility of a freshet coming down, pavigators are warned to approach the vicinity with cau-
