AN ODIOUS VILLAIN.

Odious in the only word to describe the villain in "Potash and Perlmutter." Yet while you will utterly detest the man you will enjoy his villainy, for he is always a gentleman," and when Nemesis faully overtakes him you would almost have him escape for the pleasure he has given you. In striking contrast to his villainy are the two delightful partners. Abe Potash and Morris Perimniter, equally charming whether in success or adversity. All the players in the fim are from the original cast of the play, and therefore accomplished acters, while the producer deserves the highest praise for the skilful manner in which he has got the best out of his material, both by superb filming and by beautifully finished settings. Thus, when he wanted a cabaret scene he engaged the famous Ziegfeld Follies charus for the ballet. with the result that people seeing this picture now showing at the Coronet Theatre enjoy watching some magnificent dancing,
