It has been authoritatively learned from the Commissariat of Finance that the new Treasury notes will be issued gradually, in a measure called for by the require ments of the commercial exchange. The so-called "Soviet paper money" will for the time being remain in circulation pend- ing their redemption by the Government and the issue, in their place, of small silver and copper currency. So as to avoid an eventual crisie of change money during the transition to hard cash, and it is proposed to issue one, three; five-gold roable notes. The amount of new issues is to be fized at the beginning of each month and is to be strictly limited.
