The interval which has elapsed since. our last Report of the 1st instant has been mostly occupied by the Chinese New Year holidays, and business has been notable more or less curtailed. Beyond firmness in Hongkong Lands, Green Island Cements, and China Lights, there is very little of interest to report upon, and prices show little or no change over the week.

Banks.-Hongkong and Shanghai Banks have ruled quiet with small sales at 81,150 and more offering at this rate. The latest cabled quotation from Leadon is £130 (middle)..

Marine and Fire Insurances-Linions have been done at $238 and continue in request. There are buyers of North Chinas at Tls 140 and China First $140. Fire at $550 are unchanged from last week.
