SHIPPING MOVEMENTS.

The M. M. se t'ordillings from Saigon, is expected to afrive at Hongkong on Thursday, the 17th inst. at a., and will be despatched for Shanghai' and Japan on the 18th at 3 9.m..

The P. & O. ss., Fireanla, arrived at | Marselles on January 19th.

The R.M.S. Empress of Ruzain arrived at Nagasaki on Jonary 14th at 8.30 am.. left at pan, and is due at Shanghai ta-day January 13th), at 4 p.m.. She will leave Shanghai to-morrow at 3 p.m.

The T.K.K. 9., Shingo Mura arrived at Yokohama on January 13th, and sails today being due at Hongkong on January 24th.

The Admiral Oriental Line's ... Wext Henshaw, which is due at this port on' or about February 11th waited from Seattle on January 4th.

A disastrous fire broke out on the Osaka Shosen Kaisha Wharf, in tho French Concession at Tientsin recently, when 360 sacks if brons, 400 sacks of grapes, 34 bundles of hide, 10 bales of wool, 100 sacks of cotton seed and other goods, valued at $160,000, were completely destroyed,
