HONGKONG AND SHANGHAI BANK'S TRIBUTE TO HMS "HAWKINS;":

Yesterday afternoon ILE. Admiral Sir Arthur Leveson accompanied by his Staff and some of the ship's company (compris ing approximately 10 men of various ratings) of the HMS. Harkins, attend cd at the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank where they were received by the Directors of the Bank and the Chief Maunger of the Banking Corporation (the Hon. 31r. 10. Stephen) and specially thanked for the splendid services they" rendered, än connection with the earthquake in Japan. The Admiral was presented with a hand some silver cap in the form of an ancient Chinese incense burner, in recognition of the inestimable services rendered by the men of H.M.S. nwking, to the Bank after the earthquake at Yokohama. The cup wars the following inscription :--
