At the Lincolnshire Assizes last month, George Anderson, aged 99, a maltster, was indicted for the manslaughter of hir daughter, aged 20 months, and in the alter pative of neglecting or ill-treating her so as to cause unnecessary suffering, & verdics of not guilty s returned, and the accused was discharged.
