No offer of compensation was placed before the meeting, and a consent to an adjudication in bankruptcy was signed by the debtor, the remark being made, "Most adventures I have had, but this is the first time I have been a bankrupt."

The meeting appointed Mr. F. S. Salaman, chartered accountant, trustee of the estate.
