Who was the first to jonruey round the world? The navigator was a Spaniard. Juan Sebastian Zel Cano. He setarned.

Fer- nando Magellan, & Portuguese (after whom the Magellan Straits are named), was the leader. When the task was almost Accomplished he and 40 others were killed by natives in the Philippines. The Vit- toria, under del Cuno, alone completed the circling of the globe.
