At the Trades Union Congress at Southport, on September 5th, the dele- gates considered an emergency resolution on the reparations crisis presented by the Joint International Committee of the Trades Union Congress and the Labour Party The motion represented the policy of the committee in relation to the situation created by the breakdown of the London Reparations Conference, and the appeal made to British labour by the General Federation of German Trade The proposals submitted for adoption were as follows:-
