The Tokyo correspondent of the London Daly Express writes

Extreme simplicity will characterise the forthcoming wedding ceremony of the Prince Regent ollirohito and Princess Nagako Kani, the date of which has not yet been announced. The betrothal cere mony had to be postponed owing to the death of Prince Higashi Fushimi.

Princess Nagako is fond of outdoor life. She plays tennis a great deal, und tends her own little garden. She is now taking lessons in western music, both piano, and voice, and as pastimes paints pictures and writes poems., She also has mastered the use of the typewriter, and she takes many photographs, sometimes developing and printing, her own pie-
