WEY MEN AVOID CHURCH.

An attempt to ascertain the reasons why men avoid going to church, and to provide a remedy, was made at a discussion held at the Hoare Memorial Hall, Church House, Westminster, under the presidency of the Bishop of Birmingham, on May 2nd. The meeting was convened by the fucorporated Free and Open Church Association.

In opening the proceedings the Bishop of Birmingham said great chunge had come over the whole iden of Sunday, which was for good in some respects, but not in uthers.
