THE JUVENILE SOCIETY. NINTH ANNUAL SPORTS. The fact that the Victoria Recreation ob hold its annual sports meeting int

Bloch proximity to that of the Juvenile Böciety Annual Event (which was also held on Saturday on the Race Course, Happy Valley) did not in any way spoil the fun of the lesser meeting.

The meeting was arranged for the hildren of the Portuguese community of Hongkong, but there were also several events for adults, including a ladie nomination race. The entries were very escouraging, fewer than 120 children. ranging from four to sixteen years of ngs, having entered for the competitions At the concluson of the sporting events the prizes were presented by the Bishop Pazzini. Mr. D. C. Baptista returned, thanks to His Lordship for distributing the prizes, and to the various donors and, subscribers. He especially thanked Mr. A. J. V. Ribeiro and Mr. A. V.
