CHINESE CHURCH. ADDRESS BY THE BISHOP OF VICTORIA
The third Triennial Synod of the Chinese Church in the Diocese was held last week at Canton and was well attend. ed by clergy and delegates from diferent party of the diocese. One of the delegates had travelled several hundreds of miles to represent the distant congregation at Sunnanu. This Synod lasted from Tues. day till Friday and important business was transacted. The meetings of the Synod were held in the vestry of the newly consecrated Church of our Saviour and were presided over by the Bishop of Victoria (the Right Rey, Dr. C. B. Duppur) The following were some of the points referred to by the Bishop in his opening address.
