Messrs. W. S. Bailey & Co., Ltd., launched from their Shipyard at Kow loon, on Tuesday evening, the Bulk Oil Lighter Delaware, The vessel is built to the order of the Standard Oil Ca. of New York, and is 171 fees in length by 35 feet in depth: She is designed to carry 350.000 gallons of oil in right ou tigh-compartments operated from one pump-room, the pump capacity being 160 tons per hour and the pumps alapted for operation either from the shore or from vessel alongade. There is also cargo hold forward for the carriage of esc-oil, and the vessel is so built that propelling machinery
may readily ba fitted, if required, later on. The launch-
