The match arranged between the Craig- engower, C.C. and the Chinese Cricket Club was postponed owing to the death, of Bir Boshan Wei, Yuk, President of the Chinese Club

In the second League the Police were again defeated, this time by the R.AM.G. Kowloon won their home fixture with IR.C. 2nd XI.

The Police were comfortab their own ground by the R.A.M.O. 90 Saturday. The sailors backs were very weak and. to add to their disadvantage Riley bad to leave the field following a kick on the- arkle.

From the centre kick, the Club got away, but Banner was offside. Forsyth forced.. corner of Knighting which prove abortive. Rodger saved well from... Cooper and coming again Patrick was slow to take advantage of a neat pass from "Wilkins" and McCubbin cleared. Mair sent to Begg in but he shot wide of the mark. Phillips punched away long dropping shot from Banner and the sailors got away, Bates shooting wide, Begg got away and in attempting to beat Knighting was badly charged and fell moaning. He was carried off the field. and took no further part in the game.

The game was more even in this half. Hendry playing a good game at back and keeping well out, thereby giving Phillips in goal a better chance.

Forsyth came through, and besting 3Knighting, pus the ball out of Phillips reach, putting the Club & up. England ran through and Hendry recovering: cleared by kicking to touch. Time arrived with the Club winners by goals- to nil.

The Club's inside men played with better understanding and on their play it would have been a good defence that would have kept them out. However the sailors defence in the first half was... so weak that the inside forwards did. as they liked, only the good keeping of Phillips prevented the Club from running into the double figures. Banner, though slow, put in one or two good centers, while England still wants to score from the touch line, most of his shots going Teams representing the Army and Navy behind, Mair has found his place at last, met at polo on Saturday afternoon. The At right half he played a good game Army was much the batter mounted but and fod his forwards well. Stewart and the Navy put up a great fight and had McPhail played their arual game.
